Brig Black, longtime director of commercial real estate investment, launches Elevation Land Company

Brig Black, who successfully founded and ran Lincoln Property Company’s regional office in San Diego for more than nine years, launched commercial real estate investment firm Elevation Land Company, located in Carmel Valley, according to a press release.

Elevation Land Company is an entrepreneurial company seeking to acquire value-added investment properties in California and the high-growth markets of the Southwest and Mountain West regions. The company seeks to use its expertise to enhance these assets through entitlements, development, capital improvements, capital stack restructuring, and superior leasing and management.

Upon its formation, Elevation Land announced a strategic joint venture with long-time partner Artemis Real Estate Partners. In the joint venture, Elevation Land Company will co-invest alongside Artemis, targeting value-added acquisitions of industrial, life science and R&D buildings, as well as land aggregation for future development. The joint venture will target transactions ranging in size from $30 million to $150 million in total cost.
